Lovely lights
These string lights are absolutely beautiful and super easy to use! The color-changing feature adds a magical touch, and the app control makes it so convenient to switch colors, set timers, or create light patterns right from my phone. At 33ft, they’re the perfect length for decorating my patio, bedroom, or even for holiday setups. The mini globe design gives a soft, warm glow, and they work great both indoors and outdoors. A must-have if you love customizable, mood-setting lighting!

Poor quality, natch. Broke even before hanging
Dollar store quality of course. The benefit of these is the app with the ability to customize but even that has it’s limit. However, you can program each bulb any color and any flash rate individually, if you’re patient and insanely determined lolUnfortunately after I spent an hour rounding up a charger plug and extension cord and playing around with the app to get the lights perfect, they stopped working as I was (gently!) hanging them. Turns out the usb wire and the lights wire are just sloppily taped together. The lights will come on if I wiggle the tape and hold it a certain way— i.e. bad connection. 👎 And we’re putting these outside? Idk man. Doesn’t seem good.I’m returning them obviously, and I don’t think I’ll buy again. Maybe elsewhere? I’m sure another online retailer that sells plastic chinese trash like this has them for like $2.99

Good quality for the price, but app to connect to phone doesn’t exist?
I love these fairy lights, they have different light settings and can even react to sound in different ways. They aren’t terribly bright and I noticed that in the reviews before I purchased them but that was perfect since I use them just to light up the stairs/hallway area of the house. They were great length and with the color changing functions I was looking for, for the right price. I’ve had no issues with them so far and they don’t get hot after having them on continuously for weeks. They function great! My only problem is that the app listed in the pamphlet of directions it comes with doesn’t seem to exist anymore or at least not for androids so I am unable to control them via the app so you cannot connect your phone to them. Maybe I’m the only one having this issue cause I didn’t see any other reviews about it.

Second string ordered also dead on arrival
I unfortunately waited until yesterday to try out these lights (not needed until now and I had planned to use them in their green mode for St. Patrick’s Day) and discovered they don’t work. I tried a number of options attempting to get them to work (including switching to the power adaptor used for the similar 16 foot string – which does work – but no go. It’s unfortunately not the first time for a cheap item like this not to work. Sadly these came the closest to being what I wanted and sadly also paying more with the expectation that an item will work is no longer a given. Now to decide whether I want to cough up another $9 to see if a new string will work – and making sure I check them out right away.Update 3/8/25: vendor very quickly contacted me after I submitted this review and was quite helpful getting a replacement out to me pretty much overnight. So far the replacement works and we’ll see how it goes from there. (I understand much of this is pretty much a “you get what you pay for” deal but these days paying a lot more doesn’t guarantee something’s going to work.)Update 3-12-25: Since the vendor replacement worked fine, I ordered another string to complement the first as I needed more lights on my tree – and it also doesn’t work. (Amazon sold it cheaper as it had damaged packaging and may actually have been a used item. To get a refund, they expect me to box it up and label it instead of just taking it to UPS unlabeled as most of my other returns have been handled; more than somewhat annoying. Hopefully the vendor comes through again as there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to contact them without submitting a review.)
