Easy to assemble, no issues, and good value
Great bang for your buck. Assembly was surprisingly fast. Weâve also had some very strong winds in the past few months, and even when it doesnât have a propane tank, it hasnât blown over. It heats up quickly and is functional for any space, though is probably limited to about a 7-10 foot radius. It has been a perfect fit in our patio and made sitting outside in the spring and fall a lot more comfortable. We also like the look. While itâs not the fanciest one on the market, if youâre looking for a nice heater for good value, I would definitely recommend.

The 48,000 BTU heater is a great value, well-made and heats our 10×14 patio perfectly. It came well-packed and assembly was a non-issue with easy to follow directions. But what makes this great product even more superior is East Oak’s customer service. The tank housing of the unit we received had a residue on it that was unsightly and very noticeable. I contacted their customer service department fully expecting what we probably have all experienced, a less than stellar customer service experience and having to do “battle” to find a resolution. That was not the case! My phone call was answered immediately and the information requested by East Oak from me via email was responded to in less than 24 hours, followed by receiving a new tank housing shipped to me in a matter of a few days. It arrived in pristine condition. A round of applause for East Oak’s customer service team! Thank you for taking care of your customers AND for standing behind your product!

Works great
Straightforward assembly, with well-illustrated instructions. This replaces a previous patio heater which was temperamental, and always difficult to get lit. Previous heater had a pilot, which always had a mind of its own with regard to whether it wanted to get lit and stay lit. The East Oak heater has no pilot. Turn on the gas, push the ignitor and stand back. Lights every time and puts out great heat. Looks good too. No hesitancy in highly recommending this heater.

Bought this for my daughter to use outside watching football. Works very well and radiates a perfect amount of heat. My son in law put it together and he said it wasnât too hard to assemble. Very useful!

Only worked once
The prints for assembly were very easy to follow. That’s pretty much where it ended for me. Put it together. Fired it up one time and that’s it. Reread the instructions several times and it just won’t work. VERY FRUSTRATING! Appearance is great but it doesn’t work so it sucks!Revision is required.I ended up taking the top apart and using my air compressor to try and clean out any possible obstructions. Also both ends of the hose. With that being said, it works fine now. It does eat up the fuel pretty fast. Maybe 8 hours running it on low. Nice sold product.

Got this for an outdoor party we had in our backyard in November, and I wanted to make sure our guests would be warm. It was perfect. It was in the middle and the size is perfect to where itâs not obstructive, nobody tripped over it, and everyone was warm because it put out heat like whoa. It does not come with a propane tank so thatâs something youâll need, but I canât recommend this enough. I even had guests asking about it so they could get one themselves. Just a note: when putting together you will need 2 people because unless you have multiple arms you canât do it by yourself. Power tools help make it go a lot faster and the instructions that come with it are easy to read and follow.

Very well built heater!
This turned out to be a very nice heater, throws a ton of heat. Well made and not hard to assemble, but it did take an hour. Parts are nicely powder coated or stainless steel. All the hardware is neatly labeled, and the instructions are fairly easy to follow. No sharp edges to slice your fingers. The finished product stands about 7′ high and looks great. Expect a lot of smoke on the first start-up as it burns off manufacturing oils and coatings. After that it burns clean and hot. In use, I keep it a good distance from anything that might not take the heat well like windows or siding. Has a pair of wheels that make it easy to roll around and position on your deck or patio.
