Purchased this to keep porch pirates from walking, trotting, and running off with our purchases. The assembly instructions were very informative, and the bench storage is excellent for packages or storing summer cushions inside to keep them out of the elements and with a lock ability you know what’s inside will stay there. The only thing is since it is so light we had to bungy cord it to our deck during high winds.

Disguise your litter box hack
I bought this for the soul purpose to hide our cat litter box in. My husband cut an entry door in the back and I plan to spray paint the seat “espresso brown” to go with our patio furniture.It was not a fun to put together. My husband is very handy and I’m not.Sturdy enough too. This was a less expensive hack to hide a litter box over what they are trying to sale labeled as cat box hider.Good product and the price was right.

Meh it’s okkkkkkkkk I guess
If you work in the manufacturing industry like I do, you know that there’s plastic and then there’s PLASTIC. The best way to describe it is you can make anything out of plastic, but the plastic can either be soft or firm. Think of the difference between the plastic your child’s toys might be made out of the plastic or synthetic material. You might see on the interior of your car. You noticed the difference you see the difference. This Falls in the middle. Not the most expensive plastic you can get, but it’s also not the cheapest plastic you can get. I thought this product would be more similar to a fake wooden bench. No, it’s a plastic bench. As soon as you sit on it, you can tell when you assemble it you can tell it’s plastic. It’s actually a bit overpriced I think it gets the job done for what it should be 70 gallons of storage in a well hidden fashion. Depending on your needs, it could work. Read the rest of my review below.The assembly process is straightforward there are a few screws. You have to use to assemble the product to usually hold metal bars in place, but for the most part, everything slides and snaps on click click click. It’s a well thought out design, but I urge you to remember this is plastic or synthetic material. I did have one issue during the assembly process when you make plastic like this the manufacturer usually injection molds the plastic so they have to make sure that all the edges are rounded off properly. They have to make sure all the holes that might be necessary for the assembly process or complete. Usually have a de-burning machine or some sort and a wuality check. Well, I got 2 pieces that failed quality check. Easy to fix in one case you literally just had to snap off a tiny bit of plastic on an edge and make room for a screw hole. Nothing major. On the bottom of the bench where you put 12 screws total in8 of my screw holes weren’t there you could see they should be there the outline of where they should be clearly visible, but they were never punched through. No, I’ll be the first to admit. I am no carpenter. I work in Finance in the automotive industry and I used to be an engineer years ago this wasn’t something that was hard to fix, but it was a quality check that was missed.Functionality wise it does what it should do a simple sturdy bench that has storage. I’ll admit some people in my family are a bit on the hefty side. They are afraid to sit on. It can’t say I blame them it’s a hollo Assembly. Anyone who purchased it will notice that from the beginning you can pick it up by yourself if you’re an average strength male, it doesn’t have a lot of heft to it, but it has functionality. The kids in the family Will sit on it, and I will store my barbecue equipment in it.

It’s ok
The bottom could be a bit higher to prevent water damage – even an inch or two – because it is made out of cardboard-like material. There were no instructions in the box. Thankfully, the instruction manual is available in the Amazon listing. Screw holes weren’t there for 8 of the 12 screws for the bottom, but you could easily see where they go and the screws slide easily into the plastic. Snapping the center of the bench lid into place was very difficult – make sure you do so from the top and center first.The interior compartment is a good size for storing items. I am a hefty person so I will not be sitting on it, but my mother and child are both 140 pounds or less so I expect they will use it if they come onto the deck.It was a Christmas present for my mom to store her outside pillows in when not in use. She is happy with the look of it and its storage.

Great addition to our patio. Keeps our shoes dry and out of the weather. Would be nice if it came with a cushion as the plastic seat is not that comfortable to sit on.

Good instructions . A bit complex….pay attention! but OKDefinetely a two person assembly project if you aren’t an octopus.Doug
