Set up super easy
Despite some earlier comments this box is super easy to install. All parts are numbered, so no mistake. The installation guide is minimalist, like an Ikea manual, but very clear.All pieces fit perfectly together.It took me less than 5 minutes from unpacking to starting to store stuff inside, and I was alone, no need for extra hands.Now let see how it resists to cold weather?So far, I am very pleased with this buy. Next review within a month or two.

challenging to put together
spent last 2 1/2 hrs putting this together. Seems to be fairly sturdy but only time will tell. As others have said instructions are pretty much left to your imagination. Once you get the right piece with the other right peace, its like magic just snaps together but again instructions leave to your imagination as to what goes with what! It did finally come together and now out to the deck and fill it. Will give all the room I need to save my cushions from the weather. Price was very nice. I selected this by price and size as it needed to hold at least 24″ width for cushions and I like the darker color. I gave it 4 stars simply because the instructions were somewhat not easy to follow.

The wrong pick for ANY buyer
Not only was the assembly of the product amply more challenging than the directions or my own common sense implied, but the item arrived with missing piecesâthe hinge bolts, specifically, which meant that the lid required a DIY solution with bolts from my own hardware stash to even sit in place. Amazon was less than helpful in trying to replace the missing pieces, and the manufacturer was unreachable by email, phone, AND website form. In spite of my inventive solution to temporarily hold things in place until I received the missing parts, the lid would not shut; any stored objects that exceed the internal height of the bin will prevent its closure, no matter how squishy the pillows and easy to push down they might be. The lid has no latch mechanism, only a hole for a lock, so without a lock there is no mode of downward pressure to hold it shut. The lock hole looks slightly smaller in circumference than an average adult ear canal, though, so it would only accommodate the daintiest of locks. I thought I had a bright idea to hold it shut with a zip tie; the plastic was so thin around the lock hole that the zip tie ripped right through it as it tightened. In both design and construction, the product was shoddy and met no expectations, merely demanding extra work for a product that, once set up, did not fulfill the simple purpose it was purchased to fill. BUY A DEVOKO INSTEAD; I CANNOT PRAISE THAT MODEL ENOUGH RELATIVE TO THIS KETER THAT MISERABLY FAILED ME. The Devoko gave an extra 20 gallons, too, for only ~$20 more!

Great for apartments! Keeps everything dry!
Listen, we all know that one of the many things apartments DONâT come with is extra storage room, if any at all. We bought one of these to put out on the balcony and store our lawn chairs and camping gear in and it has been a life saver! It has rained, poured, and snowed and everything inside has stayed perfectly dry.

Lockable with a tiny padlock
It was easy to assemble, but Iâm not confident about its sturdiness. Also, while there is a hole for a padlock, it is very small and will only work with a padlock that is quite small.

Strong and Durable
I run two food pantries and I bought this to use for after hour drop off for donations. I have had these filled with canned food and they have held up great! One of them is sitting out in the elements and not once have I ever had any of the food get wet when it has rained. Whatever you are using it for I am sure you will not be disappointed!

I wanted a place to sit or work on things and I needed a place to keep the returns while they built up enough to warrant a trip to the recycling centre. I was fed up with flats of cans and tetra packs etc. tipping over or being in the way or getting wet … Always a problem. This unit turned out to be a perfect choice! It will hold more than 12 flats, meaning when I fill 12, I’ll dump them into a bag (the magical 288 cans) and put them in the car. No counting or messing around. Meantime, it makes a perfect big side table or seat. It isn’t the strongest storage box I’ve had but as long as it is placed on a flat level surface, it is plenty strong enough. I’d say it’s a good design. I bought a second one for other recycling storage, but before I assembled it, I put the pieces in the sun for a while to soften up and that made the job so much easier! Now I have ordered a 3rd one, a smaller version. So yes, I like them!

Looks good. Use it to contain patio furniture cushions and covers. The top does not hold weight so no sitting or standing on it. The hinge is plastic.
