What a room change!
My landlord left this couch and I have hated it since the day I moved in. It’s not so much that it’s not my style as it is that it defeats everything else I’ve done with the room: painting and wall art and rugs, all trying to get a little personality while this couch sucks the life and light right out of everything with its overbearing big gray presence. And I literally just tried fitted covers, and hated what I got. So, I was very happy to be offered this option to try with perfect timing. in fact I was so happy to be offered one that I immediately went and bought a second one instead of waiting so I could do the second section together with the first. And I am not disappointed.If I hadn’t been offered this to test, full disclosure, I might have picked a different pattern. This one is destined to work best on bigger furniture than two smaller pieces like this I think. But, it is the color combo I wanted and the fabric is fantastic. It’s a great weight for a throw cover and it clings very well to the original couch fabric, is easy to tuck and fold and maneuver, and it’s super comfortable to lay on (which I have already done and didn’t want to get up to write this). It’s wonderful.It wouldn’t be an unbiased review without pointing out the negatives, and I found only one. I wouldn’t really call this reversible. In fact I liked the more muted tones of the other side and tried it both ways, but as you can see in the close up picture the seam is really quite a seam on the edge of the reverse side. I consider truly reversible items to work equally well on both sides, not just show a reverse pattern on the other side without regard to everything else in the design. But, I’m happy enough with everything else and what this does to brighten up the room and give me a little casual feeling light where there was dank and bleak before that I can’t really take any points off for that. Five stars from me for sure.

So good, I bought a second one
This couch throw cover is soft but weighty, so doesn’t move around much, and it is very comfortable. It’s also easily washable, which is great for the impact of muddy dog paws, or spills. I actually bought two, and the fit is as follows on standard size furniture:- Sofa: this works really well for a sofa that backs up to a wall, as the width is great, and although it only covers about half the back, it’s not noticeable because of the location- Loveseat: I rotated the cover by 90 degrees, as the entire front and sides are exposed. Because of the reduced width, the cover was a great fit here too, as the longer side covered the front and back, and the shorter side worked for the width.All-in-all, I’m very happy with the covers.

Not made for cat nails
I loved this so much that I bought a second one. What I wasn’t prepared for is how easily it would snag. Between dog and cat nails it’s been nearly destroyed after a couple of weeks.If your pets are more chill then it may work for you. It is very pretty when new and super soft. Excellent price.In one photo you can see threads hanging all over it after two weeks use.
