Wished I could get the battery in!
It looked well made until I tried to put the batteries in. I could not put one battery in as it seemed incorrectly assembled. The first battery required extra effort to insert. Nice looking clock I returned because I could not get the second battery in.

Update March 5, 2025: I’m taking off another star… the clock has developed a pretty annoying squeak when the pendulum is swinging. I’m going to try to oil it to see if it stops. If it doesn’t, I’ll be throwing it away and updating my review to a 1 star. I can hear the noise from across the room, that’s how obvious it is. I haven’t even owned this item 2 months.The clock is nice to look at. It is NOT large, I would say it’s medium, so be sure to to look at the measurements if you’re looking for something really big for your wall. I have no complaints as it is the perfect size for where I put it. The quality seems adequate, but everything is rather thin. Be careful when you open it as I’m fairly certain it will break and bend if you drop it. The time is accurate so far and it’s quiet. There us no noticeable ticking or anything. The reason I am giving the clock a 4 instead of 5 is the price. For the thinness of the material, and the size, I feel it was overpriced at $60. If you can find this on sale, you’ll be getting a better value.

So, the one thing I didn’t like so I can get this out of the way, is the astronaut baby figurine that is intended to be displayed on the clock. When I saw it before I ordered it I thought that it wouldn’t be hard to remove without damaging the clock. Fortunately, the figurine was by itself and was meant to be placed there and I was happy about that because this clock is really nice with a modern look. It looks so nice on the wall. Give the figurine as a white elephant gift and I’m sure it will get some laughs. One of the best features is that it is silent. You don’t hear it going tick tock as you search for peace and quiet. I recommend this clock…
