Allos you to have real taper candles with flames in drafty areas!
These candle holders are very pretty and allow you to have candles with real flames in drafty areas, such as in our 98 year old house. I rated them four stars simply because they do come apart easily when arranging them; the glass hurricane portion immediately lifts off of the base. That usually wouldnât be a problem in a static setting, but if you need to rearrange them for any reason, such as on a dinner table if you need to quickly move them to allow for an arriving platter of food, you need to take care if they are lit. The only solution to this that I can think of would be to possibly have a magnetic base and small magnetic ring around the bottom of the glass, or possibly tape them, etc.I initially got these because we almost had a fire at our Christmas gift exchange and I thought these could be a helpful prevention to that possibility. While unwrapping gifts, a sheet of tissue paper was enthusiastically pulled from a gift bag and allowed to float through the air when it landed on a live candle which was lit! It went aflame with quite a show, almost as quickly as flash paper in a magic act. Due to quick thinking, a shout of âFire!â, and the action of a few goblets of water tossed at it, the flames were put out immediately. If the tapers had been in these hurricane glasses, there may still have been a fire possibility, but it wouldâve been much less because of the protection of the glass.The ribbed design of the glass helps disguise any imperfections in your candles, while allowing the color of the candle to show through and diffuses the flame in a very pretty way. They are appropriate for any time of year and any occasion. I recommend!

I am WOWâd by these hurricane candle holders!!!I ordered these for my wedding and I cannot wait to display them. In the photos online they look plain but in person they are more than that. I loved the ribbed glass, the height, the thickness of the glass and the bottom doar gold bases. These will look stunning on the tables. This comes with so many itâs worth the price. These candle holders are cute, elegant and have a vintage-royal vibe to them! They are very pretty and good for holding not only candles, but flowers too as shown in the picture (flowers aren’t included in the package). The boxing was well put together and the item is good quality. It is made out of metal but looks more like glass which is a plus.

What a great idea for fancying up your outdoor dining experience.We are currently buried in snow so I wasnât able to test the product outdoors.Instead I put the ceiling fan on high and lit one candle without the glass sleeve and one inside the glass sleeve.As you can see from my video the sleeve is very effective in protecting the flame.These are nice well made units and would be great for outdoor cafe tables, as well as private backyard dining areas.I was concerned that the glass sleeve doesnât nest tightly inside the base.There is quite a bit of movement.Then my husband mentioned that is likely to allow for the glass to expand when it heats up, otherwise it could break or crack.A very nice product that arrived well protected from breakage.I would recommend.

The NUPTIO Hurricane Candle Holders came well packaged to protect them during shipping. The box is also useful for storing them when not in use. They look exactly as pictured. When I tried them with a standard 10″ taper candle, the candle didn’t stay straight and leaned against the side of the glass. I had to stick it in place but I had hoped that the holder would be able to hold it straight on its own since the product listing says it fits a standard taper candle up to 10″. The glass is a nice thickness and the ribbed texture is nice.. The base of the holder has velvet on the bottom so it stays put. At $89.99 for the set, I thought they were a little pricey especially since it could hold a 10″ candle up straight on its own.
