The white light means the light sensor is active again. Test the light sensor by covering the solar panel with an opaque object (like a towel, cardboard, or your hand) for 1-2 seconds. If the light turns on and the indicator light is white, the sensor is active—wait for it to get darker. If it stays off, press [ON] and test again.

Fun and Easy Lighting for Our Pool Nights!
I bought this solar pool light specifically for our metal frame above-ground pool, and it’s been a great addition for evening swims. The installation was super simple.The colors are bright and vibrant, with a fun selection of 10 different options and 4 lighting modes. The remote works well from a reasonable distance, and I love that there’s a timer function to automatically turn it off, so I don’t have to worry about it running all night.The light sensor is a nice touch â it turns on as it gets dark, but sometimes it’s a bit delayed or needs to be manually turned on if there’s ambient light nearby. Also, keep in mind this is a single light, so depending on the size of your pool, you may want more than one for full coverage.Overall, great product for the price. It adds a really fun and colorful vibe to the pool without needing any wiring or complicated setup. Iâd definitely recommend it for above-ground metal frame pool owners looking to brighten up their pool nights!

False Advertising
I was extremely disappointed in this product. I ordered the version for above ground metal pools because I have a 24 ft round above and the picture showed not only the round expansion knob but an additional piece that made the width longer so it would fit, as pictured. Above ground pools like mine and the one pictured have wide plastic edges that are approx 5.5 inches wide. This was at least 2-3 inches short of being able to clamp it on. I just returned it and went back on the site to look again and confirmed the pictured advertisement does show an extension to fit metal above ground pools and was absolutely not included with my order. Hope this helps some of you from wasting your time and $

Innacurate description
Does not fit above ground pool rail! We have a 21ft round and not wide enough. This item also appears to be for sale saying it only fits inground. My purchase said it fits above ground.

Love the line I just wish that it would go down just a little bit more literally a couple inches. My pool water is just about as high as I could get it without going over the skimmer, but the light is barely in the water.
