From the brand

Beautiful – Large full-color packet of Black Eyed Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) seeds. These useful legumes have deep roots that fix nitrogen to the soil and help the plants survive heat and drought.. Excellent cover crop and food source for a variety of animals such as deer, cattle, rabbits and chickens. Minimum of 13 g per packet (Minimum of 60 seeds).
Productive – Black eyed Pea germinates in 8-10 days when soil temps are 65-75°F. Plant 1” deep and space 3” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 2-6’ tall with a spread of 1-2’ and mature in 80-100 days. Plant in USDA zones 5-11.
Good Eats – Harvest plenty and enjoy the delicious flavor fresh, frozen, or canned. Beans make a delicious and refreshing garden snack. They are great sauteed with other vegetables, as an ingredient in casseroles, or eaten raw. Black Eyed peas are said to bring luck when eaten on New Year’s Day. Versatile enough to harvest at any stage.
Easy to Grow – Instructions included on each packet. Plus, we are available to answer all your questions. If these seeds don’t germinate, we will happily make it right for you.
